June is just around the corner...

Can you even believe it?
Summer is almost here!!
And boy do we have a wonderful assortment of Summertime fun in the works!

First Fridays are promising to be a BLAST this Summer!
The local Main Street/Old Town shop owners are really stepping up to create
an amazing community event for each and every First Friday!!
New features include:
-a Farmer's Market
-Live music
-Food vendors
-creative Make and Take projects at el&em
-more local businesses involved & participating
and lots more is in the works!
For our June First Friday project, we'll be crafting these super fun
mason jar vessels...perfect for home docor, vases,
picnic containers or add a votive candle to
create a softly lit lantern for the patio or garden.

2 new workshops for June!

We have 2 super fun DIY/woodworking workshops 
coming up in June!
(we highly recommend reserving tickets now, as our workshops sell out quickly). 


How often do you say to yourself "I could make that!" (If I only knew how to cut straight, hammer straight and put it all together!!) well we have the perfect workshop for all you wanna be DIYer's out there! We've invited Scott, a master wood artisan, to teach a woodworking/upcycling class. He'll guide us all the way through pallet demo to super cool wine rack!! (Or book rack, magazine rack, spice rack, etc). Learn basic woodworking tips and come armed with all the questions you've ever wanted answered about upcycling & wood crafting, he's ready for us!! 
(He'll be sharing his secret tricks & special handmade tool for easy pallet demo too!!)

First Friday Fun!

Please join us for First Friday 
in Old Town Battle Ground!! 

In honor of Mother's Day this First Friday
we will be hosting a 
Paint It! Plant It! Project
{during First Friday and on Saturday too!} 
(while supplies last)

These cute DIY plantings are just perfect for a sweet little Mother's Day gift! 
Use our wonderful Dixie Belle paints to jazz up a classic mason jar, 
then plant it with a darling mini succulent!
 Fun for all ages, only $5.00 per planting!!
