a Spring Trio...

...aged, weathered pots are perfect for vintagey Spring & Easter decorating and gift giving too.
Use around the house in little Spring vignettes.
Add a little moss and a name card for simple, yet sweet table setting accents.
Make a handful of pots, add some seed packets or your favorite seedlings, place in a basket and you have the perfect Spring themed gift!
Just one of the treasures we'll be creating in our Spring trio workshop.

can hardly wait!!

weathered pots and handmade wire cloches...Spring treasures indeed!

aging and drying our French garden labels.....

art journaling workshop

our art journaling technique afternoon of messy ART goodness!

First we altered a Starbuck's Verismo pod box into a very cool keepsake box. We then worked with a multitude of paint mediums to create a set of art journaling cards to use either for future reference for techniques or they can be used as a mini art journal or even greeting cards.

We had an amazing baked potato bar potluck lunch. Everyone brought just the perfect mix of toppings. Lunch was absolutely nap-worthy! (But the ART must go on!)

Techniques & ideas shared:
Faux embossed metal-like finishes
Rusty corroded finishes
Cracked paint
Venetian plaster finish
Chalk paint finishes
Found stamping
...and more!!
Stay tuned for our next art journaling technique workshop coming in March.
New techniques will be introduced...add to your collection or start a new one.
Goodtimes at the farm!
